I think there should be some info on the earth-venus project they are trying to get started. Another thing would be ideas to spread the word like a showing of sorts. I think organizing a showing could certainly get more people in the chapter or for the movement. Its about awareness as they say. I was also hoping there could be a summary of the last meeting as I know plenty of people including myself were not able to make it.

Another thing Peter Joseph was talking about on air was the ideas for the database we're going to create and what we can use to do this. Gapminder is a website that is really cool for organizing statistics. That site should go in the news letter. A graph from the site was actually used in one of the lectures that Peter gave and they're really eye opening.

I have included some information on the Earth to Venus Project. I agree, it is a great idea to spread the word about this.

Screening the Zeitgeist films is being discussed. The focus so far has been to shoot for Z Day 2010. This will be on Saturday, March 13th. We have no definite plans yet, but a few different venues have been suggested. Z Day will be here before we know it, so I feel it would be beneficial for all of us to pull together to facilitate a great event. Each as we are able. Once we get the ball rolling, I feel it will become easier to plan more events and keep the momentum flowing.

I try to capture notes from the Atlanta meetings to write up summaries. A previous issue of Spirit of the Times had a meeting summary. My intent is to post the previous month's meeting summary in each issue. We did not have an issue go out in November, so I never had a chance to post the October meeting summary. Sometimes it is difficult to capture good notes as so much is being discussed. Unfortunately, not everything gets documented. And sometimes, the notes are difficult to interpret or put together in an outline. A few members have recently suggested making either audio or video recordings of the meetings. I think this is a great idea. If we work it out, we'll certainly share those back to the entire chapter. In the meantime, these notes will hopefully be of some benefit. I am sensitive to the fact that we are scattered in various parts of the state. We try to offer multiple channels of communication - thevenusprojectGA Yahoo Group, the GA Chapter Forums, TheVenusProjectGA blog and this newsletter. But we certainly have room for improvement. So feedback like this is very helpful. I would like to encourage all subscribers to feel free to contact us with your ideas and suggestions.
